One of the most tranquil places to visit in Valparai is the Vellamalai Tunnel River, which is locally known as the Koolangal River. This popular Tunnel River is approximately 3km from the main town of Valparai. The freshwater of the river is clean and pure and is ideal for swimming, relaxing and taking in the views. Kamakshi Amman temple is one of the best places to visit in Kanchipuram and is one of the most historic temples in the city. Sripuram, a pilgrimage site in Vellore is truly a remarkable place. The golden temple of Sripuram stands tall in the middle of a spiritual oasis with a star path that leads the devotees towards it. The temple is said to have been covered with real gold foil and it happens to be the only temple in the world to have done this. The primary deity of this place of worship is Sri Lakshmi Narayani, the goddess of wealth. Shore Temple

The temple is standing strong with the help of the supporting stone that resists it from erosion. Shore Temple is located at the shore of Bay of Bengal which offers a beautiful view of the never ending ocean. This temple has three shrines where two of them are dedicated to Lord Shiva and the other one is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
